The factory

The plant, located in the Bay of Cadiz, started its operation in October 2009, with a scheduled annual production of 40 MW of photovoltaic modules of 80 watts of power, which means around five hundred thousand annual modules.

The production is intended to cover the needs of photovoltaic projects both in Spain and those located in the Mediterranean basin, with a market in full expansion.

The Gadir Solar module manufacturing process

Gadir solar photovoltaic modules are manufactured using a-Si thin film technology developed by Oerlikon.
